Appolonia Bacher (b1729) of Ebenezer GA

I believe that my ggggg-grandmother was the Appolonia BACHER (b1729), who is listed as an emigrant child in the household of Thomas and Maria BACHER on the Second Salzburger Transport aboard the Engish Vessel, Prince of Wales, Captained by George Dunbar...The name is spelled BACHER on the original listing but sometimes rendered Backer/Bakker/Baker in later Ebenezer Records...The Second Transport arrived on 29 December 1734.

Grandmother Appolonia was married to Grandfather Hans Ulrich Gyger, an emigrant child from the Canton of St. Galen, in Switzerland, but we have not heretofore been privy to her surname...According to HuxFord's Wiregrass publications, Grandfather Ulrich was a Revolutionary Soldier and his surname was incorrectly spelled Kegar in one land grant document, then Anglicized as Geiger/Giger/Gigger/Gieger and sometimes Grigger because of the harsh gutteral Switzerdeutsch dialect which they spoke.

Desire to correspond with other researchers who may have additional information on this family's surname.
