My great great great Grandfather was John Bacher,b.14 Oct. 1814 Bavaria,Germany,d.31 Dec.1907.He came to America from Germany with his brother Michael in 1849.Their father Martin Bacher stayed behind.Michael settled in Burlington,Iowa and John in Luzerne,Pa.John came to Kansas in 1869 with his wife Christinna Stahr and eight children.Josiah Bacher was born 21 July 1841,D.1938 in Bowie,Tx.Supposedly he fought with the Texas Rangers in the Civil War.
I have other information on his sisblings b. and d.if needed.My name is David Palmer.
