In 1870 census of Fairfield Co., Ohio, I found a Jacob Bachar, age 52, married to a
Sarah, age 54. They had the following children listed: Ellen, age 18, Parker, age
16, and Dennis age 10. Also in their house-
hold were Vera Hagerman age 5, and Minnie
Hagerman, age 3. Apparently this Sarah was
Sarah George Hagerman born 1813 in Ohio. On
another page, a second Jacob Bachar, age 56 and Sarah, age 56 were listed. The head of
that household was listed as Susan Beck, age
56. The children listed under Jacob and Sarah were: Mahala, age 19; Emereta age 15; Lydia age 4; and Selah age 7 mos. This Sarah
was apparently Sarah Beck born 1815 in Ohio.
