I am searching for information on where in Germany, on what ship and when
Jacob Bacher b. 1857 Germany d. 1912 Greenwich CT came from and on. He married Marie Schmidt b. Germany d. Greenwich CT 1923(time and place unknown). They were known to have lived in Albany, Brooklyn and Connecticut.
Jacob and Maire had at least 2 childen Herny Jacob Bacher 1888 and Emma Bacher abt 1885. There is an oral history of a Charles and another child but no documentation.
Jacob's father's name according to his death cert. was Joesph Bacher and mother Anna Maria----- Maries parents were Carl Schmidt and Mollie Bacher
