Cousins Need Your Help… A group of us are trying to translate the book "Robert de la Berge de Columby sur-Thaon" by Pierre -Lionel De la Berge. It is a genealogical treasure and a remarkable book about his times both in Normandie, France and in L’Ange Gardien near Quebec in New France for the period 1600-1700. The author has kindly given us his permission to translate his work so that his English-speaking cousins can know and better understand their heritage. We are doing this with the promise that we capture the true intent of his words. We do have a group member who will double-check the translations to assure accuracy. There are the equivalent of 18 chapters in the book, with 12-25 pages each. We need help in translating 8 more chapters and ask for your help. If you, someone in your family or a friend could translate a chapter or two, we all would be forever grateful. Please contact me at 518 458 7113 or in the US 800-75-LABERGE or by fax 518 458 1879. You can respond on Genforum or rhlaberge@albanymanagement.com the server rejects your email, please then try ri1900@hotmail.com . Ron Laberge - Albany, New York.
