I am a descendant of Hugh and Margaret(nee Lennox)Begg who came from Muirkirk,AYR through one of their sons William born 6 Mar 1803. He married Helen Craig 3 Jan 1828. They had 6s and 3d and one son Thomas Cochrane Begg born 22 May 1855/1856 was my
GGrandfather. He and his wife Elizabeth (nee Thomson) emigrated to NZ in the 1910s but before 01 June 1921 (his death. All their children were also born in Scotland probably in Dalry, Ayrshire.
I have already found one distant cousin (Barbara) through this website and would like to here from any others.
