Hi!

Happy New Year to the Begg Family Genealogy Group!

Someone searching for the same information I am has recently contacted my aunt (Mae Hart) in Souris, Manitoba and that has sparked me to put more effort into my search. I am looking for information on my Grandfather, Charles Begg, youngest son (b1907, one of 9 children) of John and Isabella Begg from Thurso, Caithness, Scotland. Grandpa moved from Scotland to Manitoba, Canada when he was 19 years old so I would guess in approx. 1926.

The only other sibling that I know about was my Grandpa's brother. His name was Alex Begg and he moved to Australia. Alex married and had at least one daughter that I know of, Joan Begg, and she married in Australia. The family name of my Australian relatives is "Clancy" and they are from Brisbane, Scotland.

I would appreciate any information that would be available
