The Begg family of Rathen seem to be fairly well documented on the internet and I suspect that my family might be linked to them, but I can't be sure. It all hangs in one Isabella Begg and an Isabella Farquharson Begg being one and the same person. What I have done is to place my (possible) family tree on the internet at http://www.angelfire.com/ar/brian1933homepage/begg.htm for others to look at and to comment upon.
I am probably wrong about the link because, if I were to be right, where and why did the Farquharson come from? Whatever. Maybe some of you can help.
I tried emailing one or two of you directly, but the emails were returned.
