Brownell Family Genealogy Forum

Have just learned a bit about the Internet and, being interested in Brownell genealogy, thought I'd check it out. Your comment about a Brownell Reunion. I have organized Brownell Reunions in 1985, 1990 and 1995, -with most participants being from the Joseph Brownell branch which settled in Upper Canada following the Revolution. We have had some representatives from other branches and would be happy to host others in the year 2000. That's the year I'm aiming for at this time. A reunion, every five years usually works well. As for your Brownell search back to Thomas and Anne (Bourne) Brownell. Have you checked out "Genealogical Record of the Descendants of Thomas Brownell, 1619-1919" by George Grant Brownell? It was compiled by George Grant Brownell, Jamestown, New York, 1910. I have a photocopy of this genealogy and would be happy to share any information with you. Do you have the information regarding your great or great-great-grandparents? I'd be happy to correspond with you through you e-mail address, -actually my daughter's!Jim
