I am updating my data and photos about Benjamin Turner and Nancy (Griffin) Boynton of Montville, Maine. I find that I do not have data on some of their children. I have put all of my Boynton info into Family Tree Maker, making quite a booklet. This is what I do have. I'd appreciate info on any of them. I would also like to know where to obtain a nice color copy of the Boynton Coat of Arms. Benjamin T. Boynton, born 11 Sept. 1829; died 12 Jan. 1912 in Montville, Me. He lived in the part of town called "The Kingdom". He married circa 1854 to Nancy Griffin, daughter of Jacob and Lydia Ann (Davis) Griffin. Their children were: Alfred Royal Boynton b. 11 Sept. 1854; died 3 Sept. 1923; married ? 15 jan. 1897 in Sarsmont, Me. to Ellen O. Richards. I do not have any more info on them, and assume that they went to the West Coast. Would like any info. Charles Boynton [No info at all, except that his photo of him and presumably a wife was taken in Medford, Oregon. Ida M. Boynton, b. 15 Jan. 1858 in Montville, Me. married in 1876 to Charls Weston Pinkham, and had a large family in the Montville area. Annie Dorothy Boynton, born Aug. 1862 in Montville, Me. married 1) 25 Dec. 1882 to George E. Currier of Belfast, Me. married 2) to George Thomas. She presumably went to the West Coast, and had a family of Currier and Thomas. Franklin Gustavus Boynton, b. Jan. 1870 in Montville, Me.; married 14 May 1892 to Alice Lydia Fuller and had six children. John [possibly middle initial 'H'] born 1867; married 24 Dec. 1891 to Cora E. Penney, born 1871 Knox, Me.; died 16 Aug. 1952, had ten children; No info on John other that the names of his children. David Ulysses Boynton, b. 23 Mar. 1870 Montville, Me.; died 4 May 1964 Belfast, Me.; married 1) 21 Dec. 1892 Ava Arvilla Wellington; married 2) 25 Nov. 1906 Harriet L. Morrison; had 7 children between the two wives. Ava died at age 22. Benjamin Boynton, Jr., b. Jan. 1860; married 1) his first cousin Veilla Mabel Griffin; married 2) Addie J. Bateman and a 3rd wife Mary Ott. [I'm not sure of the order, but think that Mary Ott was the second wife, mar. 1913, and Addie the third, mar. 1914. He had a large family, several children dying in infancy. Sadie May Boynton, b. 7 May 1872; died 6 Sept. 1964; resided in Leland, Wash., married William David Thomas, had several children; Bertha Boynton, born 1874; married 1. Charles E. Davis; and 2) Edward Tasker. Had several children, have names, but need more info. Oswald Boynton, b. Mar. 1878; Have a photo of him, but no info. Did he go West? Camilla Georgia Boynton, b. 21 Mar. 1879 Montville, Me.; died 8 Mar. 1930 Boston, Mass. married 21 Mar. 1897 to Herbert Reuben Hannan, son of Martin and Melinda (Herrick) Hannan. Herbert died tragically before he was 40 years old, leaving 10 small childen. She married 2) Joseph W. Chapman and 3) Charles S. Hubbard, before dying at age 51 yrs. She is the great-grandmother of my children. I would like to correspond with any descendants, also to exchange info, and good copies of photos. God bless, Isabel Morse Maresh
