Looking for ancestors and descendants of James Robert FONDA born 10/29/1816 in NY and died 7/18/1891. I think his father's name was William. James married Alzina Bacon in 1837 and had the following children - Annette Marie, Fitch Fenton, Harriet Bacon, Erwin Roselle, William Leonard and Wilbur James. James then married Jane E. HENDRICK in 1852 in NY. James and Jane had the following children - Fred Delos, Ella Elvira, James Henry, Mary Lunette, MERNE LINCOLN. All children were born in NY, James and Jane's children lived in NE, IA and AL.
Merne Lincoln Fonda married Mildred Amelia Hackman in 1885 in IL. There children were - Edith Jeannette, JAMES WILLIAM, Bessie Marion, and Donald Clarence.
