Seeking information on the family of Henry I. Fonda of the Town of Watervliet, N.Y., prior to and after 1895 when Watervliet became the Town of Colonie, N.Y. Records on file indicate that Henry I. Fonda was appointed the first constable in the new Town of Colonie in 1895. He probably resided in or near the Boght/Cohoes area of the town.
