Can someone please confirm ancestry, marriage and decendancy of this couple. In my research I come across a discrepancy in this couple. I have the following two listings. Marie Genevieve Gagne born 10 Sept 1756 to Jean Baptiste Gagne (Feb 24, 1732) and Marguerite Appoline Simard (June 6 1740) She married Joseph Marie Gagnon on Aug 23, 1773. He was born Dec 9 1744 and died Aug 3 1796 son of Charles Gagnon and Clair Francois Trepagnier. In the second case this same Joseph Marie Gagnon is married to Marie Genevieve Gagne born Nov 26, 1748 to Gabriel Gagne (July 27 1719)and Genevieve simard (April 28, 1726). In both cases the husband and marriage dates are the same and a couple of the children are listed for both. Also Marie Geneviev Gagne DO Gabriel and Genevieve is listed as married to Joseph Martel born Mar 1756 and married July 10 1778, and also to Pierre Louis Girard born June 4, 1740 Married Nov 27 1798. Can anyone give me proof of the facts concerning any of these. Greatly appreciated.
