I am so glad to see your posting. I am descended in 2 lines from Daniel Gaines b. abt 1625 and Margaret Bernard b. 1639, but I am so confused and maybe you can straighten me out. Is Margaret Rowzie and Margaret Bernard one in the same person? I have seen 2 different marriage dates and seen both listed as his wife with different birth years and birth places! From what I have found it looks like Daniel was married to 2 different women at the same time! I am descended from their son, Bernard Gaines who married Martha Taylor. Any information you can share that would clear this up for me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Duellen Moody McCormick.
