Revolutionary War Pension file #4418 at NARA for an Anthony Haden d. 28 April 1828 in Christian Co., KY:

"State of Kentucky, County of Christian:
On this 4th day of July AD 1853…presently appeared Joshua le Prewitt aged about Fifty-four years who being duly sworn according to law on this oath declared that he was about two years intimately acquainted with Anthony Hadon deceased and his family, that Anna Hadon wife of said Anthony died in Christian County State of Kentucky on the 24th day of December One thousand Eight hundred and Twenty four (1824) that Anthony Hadon died in Christian County State of Kentucky either in the month of April or May in the year one thousand Eight hundred and Twenty Eight (1828) that they had the following named children to wit, Joel H Haden, William D. Haden and Nathan O Hadon that he does not know what became of Said William D. Haden but has heard frequently and believes that he died many years since, that said Nathan O. died in Todd County Kentucky in the year one thousand Eight hundred and thirty three (1833) leaving the following named children to wit Nancy H. Haden, James Haden, Sibellow Haden and Sally Ann Haden, that Said Anthony Haden and Anna his wife during the period of his acquaintance lived together as man and wife and were so known and respected That he knows said Anthony Hadon was an officer in the war of the Revolution, and predicates his knowledge upon the following facts, to wit, that he has heard Said Anthony relate many incidents connected with said war; speak of his intimacy with General Lafayette, and sound to be familiar with his character and habits, which acquaintance was clearly demonstrated, when General Lafayette visited the United States after the war; by their meeting in Nashville Tennessee when General Lafayette in a large crowded room without an introduction on seeing Said Anthony exclaimed "Captain Haden, Captain Haden" and the two embraced with eyes flowing with tears, what he has heard said Anthony speak of being paymaster that he has seen papers in said Anthony's possession relating to said war amongst the rest a Captains Commission, that Said Anthony was from the State of Virginia and other circumstances which confirms him is his knowledge.
He further declares that he is acquainted with Joel H. Haden the eldest of the children of Said Anthony & Anna Hadon who is a resident of the state of Missouri that he is a minister of the gospel and a man of high standing, and further that he is a disenterested [sic] witness and that the word "from" was erased before signing.

I am doing a Haden name study and transcribed this from the above file. The file has much family information and is worth checking out through footnotes or by writing NARA.
