From "The Semi-Weekly Farm News" newspaper published Dallas, TX Jan 5, 1932 p. 2

Mrs. Edna (Haden)Moody, daughter of Capt and Mrs W D Haden (prominent Galveston residents)died Jan 1 l932 of injuries sustaine in an accident on the Houston-Galveston road.

Mrs. Moody, ex-wife of W L Moody III (scion of one of Galveston's most prominent families) and companion, Albert Bellingrath where returning to Galveston from Houston when the vehicle in which they were riding collided with a cotton truck a mile south of Genoa [TX].

Mrs. Moody and Mr. Bellingrath were taken to the Parkview Hospital [Houston??] where Mrs. Moody died as a result of a skull fracture and internal injuries. Mr. Bellingrath [at the time this news article was written] was in critical condition with internal injuries.

Mrs. Moody had married Mr. W L Moody III in about 1916 and they had divorced the summer of 1931.

Survivors in addition to her parents included 2 daughters Edna and Virginia; a son W L Moody IV; and 2 sisters, all of Galveston. The body was sent to Galveston.

I have very little more information on this accident. I hope it will help someone find missing family members. SR
