Greetings to all the members of the Jacoby Family!
I have posted here before in my search for information on the Reverend Jacoby (1813-1874) and his wife, as the parents of Hermann Heinrich Jacoby (1850-1919), who founded the Jacoby Art Glass Company of St. Louis, Missouri.
I have done research into the life of Ludwig, and found it interesting enough to include a paragraph about him before I discuss his son in the book I am writing for the congregation of the Cathedral of the Episcopal Diocese of West Missouri, Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral, located in Kansas City, Missouri. (One of our stained glass windows was made by the Jacoby firm in 1926, and it is a beautiful Madonna window, designed by Lee Albert Cook (1888-1981).
I was able to find the names of Ludwig's parents, but not their life dates. They were Samuel and Henrietta Jacoby, and they were living in Altstrelitz, Mecklenburg, Germany, when Ludwig was born in 1813.
Has anyone researched this couple? Can you assist me with life dates for them? I don't need the complete dates -- the years of birth and death will suffice.
