I am researching a Jaggi family in Beatenberg, in the region of Interlaken in Canton Bern.

My ancestor Barbara Jaggi married Peter Stämpfli (1674-1757) at Beatenberg, Canton Bern, on 20 March 1738, and died there 12 April 1763 at the age of 47. They had two daughters, Magdalena Stämpfli (1739) and Barbara Stämpfli (1742), both born and baptized at Beatenberg.

Also, I have two ancestors named Anna Jaggi. One was the mother of the aforementioned Peter Stämpfli, and the other married Hans Gerber at Beatenberg in 1670. I have yet to seek further information on these two.

I have not found Barbara Jaggi's baptismal record at Beatenberg, but I do not yet know where else I should be looking. I would welcome suggestions, and I would be happy to share any further information if asked.
