Hi,
I'm a great-great-grandson of John J. Kaiser (b. June 24, 1855; d. Jan 15, 1933 in Dwight, Livingston Co., Illinois) and Elizabeth Lowenberg (b. 1859; March 23, 1932 in Odell, Livingston Co., Illinois). Both were born in Granville. They exchanged vows December 8th, 1885 in Livingston Co., Illinois. Eliza's parents were Philip and Elizabeth (nee Metz) Lowenberg. Eliza was the oldest of her siblings, I believe. I know nothing about John except of his birthplace. In 1880 it shows him as a farmhand to the clan of Gustave Holly in Granville. Amelia Kaiser (possibly a relative) was a cook or something to another family in the area). John and Eliza's children were:
Kathryn M. "Kate" Kaiser (married to John "Jack" Wolf, Jr.)
Edith Kaiser (married to Royal Frederick Pernet)
Harry Frederick Kaiser (married to Mary Anne Wolf - sister of Jack) [My great-grandparents]
Lillian Emily "Lil" Kaiser (married to Clarence J. Fogarty)
Frank J. Kaiser (married to Grace Deffenbaugh)
Edward L. "Ed" Kaiser (married to Edith ? and Mildred ?)
