FRED. KAISER..BREWERY /SALOON OWNER 1845 Illinois

Hi ! Still desperately in need of info. on Frederick Kaiser who ran a brewery in Peru, Il. from 1845 to 1860. It is suggested that he also ran a saloon on the same location, which with the popularity of brew pubs now means he was 150 years ahead of his time. We have surmised that he died between 1855 and 1860. His wife and kids moved to the Chicago area. Years later it was reported that his soon committed suicide by jumping off the tower of the Water Works station in North Chicago. Our book on the three breweries of LaSalle-Peru is woefully incomplete without info. and pictures of the founder of the earliest brewery. Please email this to ANY Kaiser that could be of help. The book project will not proceed without him. Thanks Mike PS-My email is m.cusick@hotmail.com
