Dear Libby,
The Paul Labrie I am looking for was the son of Antoine Labrie and Marie-Josephine Brisebois born 24-7-1857, Ste-Anne-des-Monts, Gaspé, PQ. Antoine Labrie and Josephine Brisebois were married 21-8-1848 also at Ste-Anne-des-Monts, Gaspé, PQ.
Paul Labrie and Rose de Lima (Delima) Chouinard did have three boys, Joseph, Napoleon and Amedee Labrie and two daughters, Olivine and Albertine who all married at St-Patrice, Magog, Stanstead County, PQ.
I also found Paul Labrie and Delima Chouinard in the USA Census of 1880 living in Salem, Essex, MA. Paul and Delima were both age 23 with a 2 year old daughter. The census says all were from Canada. I approximate Paul, if married at about age 20, married in about 1877 but the question remains WHERE?
I beleive we are talking of two different Paul Labries.
