Indeed I think so and the two are same age! That makes thing a little moer difficult to sort. I was hoping that the Paul who married Delima Chouinard had migrated to Salem from Grafton. People moved alot back then because for the French, the job was not assured but for the agreed period, and too, I think for many the objective was to move home once economically possible. For many though, the new life here was agreeable. I can find no trace of Paul married Mary who had a son Paul, after the 1870 census nor any of the others who were children of Anne Cole, whos family was from Salem, and Jean Felix. No evidence either of her second husband named Girard whom she married at St. Ours in 1843. In the 1850 census she is with a man named Oliver Jerome who is 20 years sr to her. I see in the Grafton, 1870 US census that all of the children of Paul and Mary Labree were born here (US) in Massacusetts. Therefor, as he was in the 1850 and 1870 census, I beleive he married here at Grafton and the children born at Grafton as well. I need to look in 1860. Perhaps the Grafton civil records and church records will help you? Paul and Mary married about 1852 and their son Paul born about 1857/8. Sorry that this has become more confused! I did note that the child of Pasul and Delima was born Canada.......Perhaps in Stanstead? Seems all the other family returned there! Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
