I'm finding that my ancestors began as dit Labrie.....Nicolas Leblanc dit Labrie was the beginning and then approximately 3 generations down the surname switched completely to Leblanc. I'm looking for any information on the surname origin of Leblanc and Labrie and any other information any one can help me with. The family started in France to Cap-de-la Madelaine, QC to Becancour, QC to Manchester, NH.
