It's funny to see you here! It's your cousin Alison. I'm not sure exactly how they made it to Baton Rouge, but my grandmother Judy Mae Labrie, per her birth certificate, was born in Point Coupe Parish, LA. The town is named Red Cross. We also found an Alexander Labrie who was a slave owner in that parish. Hope this helps. Let me know if you find anything.
