My family goes back to Louis* Mignault dit LaBbrie 1639 in Quebec. They origianlly came from France in a small town called La Brie which is 40 miles south of Paris. They were and are famous for making cheese. I had some Aunts go there and found some relatives still living in La Brie. The family name was Mignault or Migneau, spelled many ways from La Brie. Later they dropped to Migneau part. Hope this helps. Roger
