I'm looking for Clarisse's parent.
Information known about her:
She's my GG Grandmother. She get married with Ambroise Caron in Kamouraska, september 29th 1851. Registry state Ambroise's parents as defunct Louis Caron and defunct Modeste Chamberland. Information about Clarisse's parent is not mentionned. It is stated "Clarisse surnommée Labrie fille majeure aussi de cette paroisse" means "Clarisse surnamed Labrie major daughter from this parrish too".
Witnesses were Alexandre Labrie, Pierre Caron (Ambroise's brother) and his wife Eliza Dionne.
Other information found about Clarisse are from census 1901.
She's recorded as Marie-Clarisse, 67 year-old, born May 13th or 18th, 1833 spouse of Ambroise Caron.
I also have her burial informations: Baie-des-Sables, Quebec (Sandy Bay) cemetery, March 1903, deceased at age of 68 years and 8 months spouse of sieur Ambroise Caron.
I didn't find her birth in registries. We may deduct she was born in 1833 (as stated in 1901 census)or 1834 (according to burial registery).
It's suggested in other forum that Alexandre Mignotte dit Labrie should be the father and Flavie Phocas dit Raymond should be the mother, but they were married in 1838, four year after Clarisse's birth and 13 years before Clarisse's wedding. I prefer to suggest Alexandre would be a family member (brother, cousin, uncle or... tutor). It's possible that she had an other birth name ?
If someone have the clue about Clarisse Labrie's or Labry's origins, it would be appreciated.
