Mrs. Melba Lee LaCasse Montezuma, age 78, resident of Ashdown, Arkanas in Little River County, died Wednesday Nov.26,2003 in Ashdown.
Memorial services were held at 2 P.M. Saturday, Nov. 29 in the Kingdom Hall of Jehobah's Witnesses with Jerry Brazeal officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home,Dequeen,Arkanas,Sevier County.
She was born March 2,1925 in Oklahoma to Joseph and Mossie Bell Monroe LaCasse; was a homemaker; and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in DeQueen. She was predeceased by her husband, Jimmie Montezuma in 1999.
She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Cannon of Stilwell, Oklahoma., and Deloris Anguiano of Barstow,Calif; two sons, Thomas Montezuma of Grandview, In., and Jimmie Montezuma, Jr of Glenpool, Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
