My great-grandfather was Alfred LaCasse, Sr. born on Sept. 10, 1883. I believe he was born in Canada although not sure where. In my family folklore it is told that he helped to dredge the Erie Canal. He married Lena Beauvol and they had three children. Alfred Jr., Francis and Cecile.
