I had no luck at all finding Ambroise and Harriet on the 1860 census. I'll keep trying, but haven't been able to find them so far.
Now on to the info about Jean Baptiste LaCasse and his wife Marguerite Channasor-SansouciFontaine. John Baptiste was born in 1774 in Quebec Canada. Christened on 11 April 1774 in St. Charles church,Bellchasse,Quebec,Canada. He died 5 Feb 1861 Frenchtown Twp., Monroe Co. Michigan,buried at St.Marys church Monroe Co. Michigan.He married Marguerite Fontaine on 28 Oct 1799 St. Olivier Parish,Chambly,Montreal,Canada. Jean Baptistes parents were Jean Baptiste La Casse and Marie Pilote. Don't have much information on Margureite Fontaine except she died ca. 1811 in Monroe Co. Michigan and is buried at St. Marys church Monroe Co. Michigan. Her parent were Rene'Fontaine and Margureite Sanscouci. Jean Baptiste married a second time to Elizabeth Isabella Gaillard. Here are the children I have for Jean Baptiste and Margguerite

2.Marie Margureite Louise LaCasse b. 6 Feb 1802 in St.Luc,Quebec Canada d.3 June 1894 Monroe Co. Michigan. Married to Jean Baptiste Smith 22 July 1822 Detroit,Wayne Michigan.
3Marie Judith LaCasse b.4 April 1804 St. Luc,Quebec Canada
4.Michael LaCasseb.1807 d. 17 July 1863 Frenchtown Twp.Monroe Co. Michigan
5.Amabel/Mabel LaCasse b.ca.1810 Quebec Canada d. before 1850 married Joseph Nadeau 15 June 1833 River Raisin Monroe co. Michigan.
