Hi All, There were supposedly three Mardis Children that married Henson's. Would love to know who were the parents of William Mardis and to find any descendants.
Their parents were William Mardis married Matilda Unknown. She born Feb. 21, 1810 in AL. died July 28, 1885.
1. John W. Mardis born abt 1830 in AL Married Mary R. Henson in Kemper Co. MS. She born 1834 in AL. John W. and Mary had at least 7 children.
2. R. Henry Mardis born Dec. 19, 1835 in AL. and died Feb. 24, 1900 Married Nancy Minervy Henson abt. 1865. She b. Oct. 05, 1842 in Kemper Co. MS. and d. July 26, 1918. They also had at least 7 children.
3. Notes have: R. Henry Mardis was the brother of John Stepen Henson's wife Anna Eliza Mardis.
