I'm following up my own post because some of what was posted was in error ( only two are wives, one actually was a daughter)... and thanks to Alice Wilson, whom I found through other posts on here, I've got all of the information I asked for.
Ms. Wilson, my sincere thanks for your help. The answer to my post was: Samuel Henry Mardis, son of William Thomas, son of Rowland.... trail stops there... evidently for most of us..
