Just an update to let you know that the Mardis surname dna project has five participants. So far we have identified two unrelated Mardis lines. We still need participants that trace their male lines to early 1800's in PA, OH and KY. A number of men have inquired but not followed through on joining. I ask you to reconsider. Take a look at familytreedna.com and give some serious thought to becoming a participant. Ladies, treat your male relatives to a kit!
