To Rose Young: I have read with interest your lineage on the name Myler. Mine is Mealer and some of my uncles spell it Mealor. I noticed in your post that it does not show who came into the US and when. Do you have that. A John Meeler wrote a book and has some similar but shows a Thomas Mealer came to US aroung 1600. I am trying to tie my lineage to his book. It has been said that Mealer was German but, everything I find seems to dispell this and that it came from England.
