One of my ancestor's sisters married into an O'Meara line.
I would like to find out who were the parents of Edward Thomas O'Meara, born St. Louis, Missouri, Aug. 3, 1921, died January 10, 1992. He was ordained as a Catholic priest in 1946 and ordained as a Bishop in 1972, later appointed Archbishop of Indianapolis in 1979.
My ancestor's sister was born in New York, married Thomas O'Meara (whose father was apparently also named Thomas) in Miami County, Indiana in 1863, and was living in Kansas by 1870. While I don't believe the Archbishop was anywhere in this line, nor a son of any of the male children, I would still like to rule it out.
