John O'Meara originally from Kenmare lived in Killarney from around 1910. [His father was also John.]His sisters emigrated to the US from Queenstown [Cork] in the early twenties. There are records at Ellis Island of their arrival but no information of who met them or to where they moved. They are recorded as coming from the village of Beaufort which is just outside Killarney. He married Margaret Sullivan from Killarney and had six sons who all moved overseas, mainly to England. Interestingly there is no family memebers in Kerry at date [05]
