I am looking for information about Heman Padden born 1799, New York, (son of Thomas Padden and Anna Winchell), and his wife Ruth born in New York. What was Ruth’s maiden name? Who were her parents? When and where was Ruth born? Did Heman and Ruth die in Ontario, Canada?
This Padden family was in Chautauqua County, New York by 1830; Lake County, Ohio 1840; and back to New York by February, 1843. Sometime after 1843 it appears the family moved to Ontario, Canada - Norfolk and Haldimand Counties. Their children were : Ira W. b. abt 1824, New York; Parmer b. abt 1826, New York; A. Zenas b. abt 1828 New York; William b. 1829 Ohio; Horace b. abt 1836 Ohio, Thomas Jimmeson b. 1838, Ohio, John D. b. 1840 Ohio and Mary Ann b. 1843, New York. There could be one more son.
