Looking for decendants of Michael Padden b.1790 in Ireland,a d Mary Carben (not sure of speling of last name) b in ireland 1800.The lived in Pennsylvania before coming to Clark Co, Wa aprrox 18860. I would love to know who thier parents were, but that would be too much to ask. They had at least ten children, I know of several: (1) My great-grandfather, Michael Padden. He died March 1880 at approx 42 yrs. of age. Hewas shot and killed by a ten year old boy over a boundary dispute in Sehome, Bellingham Bay, Wa. His first wife was Mary Shearon. They had four children: Mary Ellen, Anthony, Eddie, and Nell. Mary died giving birth to Patrick, as did he. Michael then married Anna Connelly. They had two children John Vincent and Anna. (2) James J. Padden. b. 1831 Mayo Ireland. He married Bridget Whalen March, 1871 in Vancouver, Wa. (3) Bridget Padden b. 1841 Mayo Ireland, m. Daniel Healy. (4) Thomas W. Padden b. 1846 Mayo Ireland, m. Sarah O'Byrne Oct. 3, 1873 in Vancouver, Wa. (5) Dominic Padden, have no info on him. I have also found a Patrick and Daniel Padden on Washington Census Reports. Assume they are related somehow, but do not know how.My aunt also told me there was split in the family and some relatives settled in Canada. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
