A high school English and speech teacher, I am seeking biographical information about one Ellen Parr, cited on numerous Internet quotation sites as the author of the words, "The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity." None of these sites identifies or gives information about Ellen Parr. ... Using Google.com to search, I have located reference to no such author. (I have exchanged email with an Ellen Parr in Oregon, USA, who has written about beagles, but she is not nor does she know the originator of the quote.)
