Seeking information on a John J. Raab who married an Etta Pierce (nee Mesick) on September 4, 1916 in Allegan, Michigan. John was residing in Caledonia, Michigan at the time. He was married once before.
His parents are listed as Adam Raab and Louise Estley. Witnesses to the wedding were an Irene Berry and Ethel W. Hawley, both of Allegan. I think Ethel was the clergy's wife.
I believe John was born about 1855 in Salem, Michigan.
I am seeking death information ... when and where and his middle name. I do not know if he divorced my great-grandmother Etta or if he died. He was 61 in 1916 and retired. Etta was much younger, only 44 at the time.
