I have found my first/natural/biological mother after 34 years of being seperated by adoption. We reunited on 8/3/2007. It was a dream come true for me. I not only met her but found a family along with her. I did not go looking to replace anyone or fill a void of a mother. What I wanted was to be in the womans life who had given me life and find the truth behind my birth. Meeting her was the first step of many to come on this journey to find as sense of self and to find home!
The story that was told to me was exaggerated and developed into a lie that was given to me from my adoptive parents/adoption agency. What I found out was the just the opposite. What gets covered up in adoptions is wrong. Every child has a right to know where they came from. And who gave them life. We have a set of parents out there that may have relinguished the rights of being parents to that child in question BUT they did not relinguish the love for that child! They never forget and neither do their children.....us. That children always return to home to their mother&father in one way or another. Doesn't anyone realize by now that the truth always comes out in the end. That knowing the truth will set you free. Life is too short for this insecure nonsense.
Anyways I am happy to report that I am related to the Raab/Maloney family...so far. They are beautiful people that I am glad to call my family. I am now working on MY FAMILY TREE filled with biological relatives on my mothers side and much heritage that comes from this family I was so connected too! If anyone out there knows either parties in question...email me. Thank you!
Please now wish me luck on the search for my biological/first/natural father.... I am going to need all that I can get. Thank you again!
