Nancy Reeder married Andrew Heredith 24 Sep 1856 in Morgan Co., IL. They are found on the 1860 census in Derry Twp, Pike Co., IL Andrew 27 OH carpenter Nancy 27 IL Elizabeth 1 IL They are also in Derry Twp in 1870 Andrew 36 IL Nancy 36 IL Julia 8 IL. Nancy must have died before 1872 as I believe her husband is found with daughter Julia, and a new wife (and children by her)in Knox Co., MO in 1880 Andrew 49 OH OH PA carpenter Martha 28 IL TN VA Cora B 8 MO OH IL Nellie M 5 Jno 8 MO OH IL Julia 18 IL OH IL Does anyone have any idea who the mother of Nancy might be? I could not find a Nancy Reeder/Reader of the right age in Morgan County in 1850, but did find one of about the right age in Pike County, apparently the daughter of Abishai Reeder. By 1850, he was married to a second wife so even if Nancy L. (18 IL) is his daughter and she married Heredith, I've no idea who his first wife was, but suspect she was connected to my family lines (most of whom migrated to Pike Co., IL area by around 1830). My g-g-g-grandmother collected hair from more than 130 family members beginning ca 1858, while she lived in Derry Twp., Pike Co., IL. Nancy and Julia Heredeth are entries in the book. Many of her mother's Tucker siblings have not yet been identified (at least one older sister and several brothers who may not have moved into the Pike County area with the rest of the family). All of the other "unknown" names that I've identified have proven to be connected to the family and I am sure this one is, too.... Can anyone help?
