My husband's grandfather was Caswell Sadler.Caswell's father was Eli Sadler,whose father was Robert C.Saddler.On the 1850 Ky.Census,it has the mother of Eli as Wilmot.
I know that Wilmot is suppose to be a male's name,so could it be that the census taker just made an error in spelling?
I read that someone had mentioned Robert C.Saddler's wife's name was Wilmouth Moore.Can anyone tell me more about this?
I would like to know how I can get the info.on Wilmouth,because I have tried in vain,and come up empty handed.Thank you,Sandie Preston.
