Cora Lee Sadler married John Hines in 1897. They were listed on the 1900 census,both age 25, in Llano, Texas, with their son, Cordie Lee,age 2. They lived next door to Cora Lee's parents, James Kaine Saddler and his wife,Mary Berry Sadler and family. A family story says that Cora may have been blind, and was pregnant. While John was away from home, Cora took Cordie Lee and moved somewhere with her parents and their family.
John looked for them, but did not find them. She was said to have had a baby girl later. John remarried in 1904.
What happened to Cora Lee and the children?
