Dear Johnny Ferris,

Could be Segond von Banchet? If i had believe an old story about my familyname from my oncle, than it had to be "hugenoten" they had to run for their religion to Germany and put "von" to their name and became "Preusen". Or another story will be the second of bank in the church, the rich in that time in France. Or a 3th story could be a village called "Segundo" near a moutain "Mon Bancheta" in the Po surrounding
in the North of Italy. There is a family weapon with a kind of plant like rice. So rice is grown in Northern Italy! So you will see, everything is possible! If you search in Google or alltheweb you find something about German "Adel" (i don't know the word in Englisch), also a lot other family in The Netherlands, Gemany, Bonaire, Austalia, So i hope that have helped you a little bit.

Yours sincerely,

Carl Segond von Banchet
