Looking for information on Linivi T. Tait (b. 1786 as reported in the 1850 US Census) and Sophia Elizabeth Tait, most probably his daughter.
Sophia's vital statistics are as follows: b. abt 1815 in Georgia (most probably Elbert County), d. 05 July 1855 in Lafayette, Walker, GA; m. Robert Burton Dickerson 05 April 1836 in Walker County, GA (R. B. Dickerson was born 26 Nov 1808 in Rutherford Co., North Carolina, and died in Lafayette, Walker, GA); Sophia was his first wife. One of their sons was my great grandfather.
