I am looking for information and family of the following:
Ralph Tait b. 1826 Doddington, Northumberland, England
m. Elizabeth ???? b. 1823
They had 3 children that I am aware of:
William L. Tait b. 1856
Jane Tait b. 1858 (my g-g-grandmother)
Mary Ann Tait b. 1862
Ralph was living when the 1871 census was taken, but does not appear in the 1881 census.
It is believed that William's middle name was Lancelot. He remaind in England.
My g-grandmother, Jane, gave birth to my g-grandfather (who was illegitmate) August 2, 1877 and he appears, along with his mother, uncle and grandmother to be living together in the 1881 census (I believe in Widdrington). Jane later married George Curry and they had 3 additional children and immigrate to the United States around 1902/1903. William (my g-grandfather) married Emma Fitzpatrick and also immigrated to the US.
Mary Ann married a man whose last name was Richardson. She also stayed in England.
If anyone has any information about any of these family members I would love to hear from you.
