Looking for anyone who may have any link or knowledge of Andrew Tait, born about 1827, somewhere in Scotland, possibly Aberdeen. Andrew married Jane Palmer Fraser in North Church, Parish of St Nicholas, Aberdeen 31 Oct 1854. There is no information about Andrew's parents, but Andrew's occupation was listed as Inland Revenue Officer. Jane was Roman Catholic and Andrew Protestant - hence the marriage was not supported by either family. Andrew and Jane moved to Longford, Ireland, for one year and then on to New Zealand. All contact with their families was lost.
