I am taking a trip to Scotland and i would like to find out as much as possible about where my ancestors are from. I have basically just started to trace my family back so i do not have a lot of info. This is what i know. My father was Gordon Thomas Tait born 1924 son of Frederick James Tait born 1890 and Julia Jablonski residing in Winnipeg Manitoba. Frederick was son To James Tait, and Mary Blondell, they resided in Chatfield or around Chatfield Manitoba. On my Grandfathers
Army Enlisting Info he said he was residing in Macregor Manitoba and was from Seamo Manitoba which is on the Map and very close to Chatfield i do not think it exists as a town or hamlet today. My email address is wayne23@mts.net if anybody can help it would be greatly appreciated.
