I am trying to find information on my gg Grandfather. His name is Charles William Tait born 1898 in Middlesex Ontario Canada. He married Velma May Tait (Bulman was her maiden name)in 1919 in Sarnia Ontario. They had four children, Thomas, Charles, Robert and Margaret.He passed away in 1986 in Penticton BC. I also know his Dad was William Tait and he married Lydia Warwick and he died in 1910 and Lydia remarried to a McKay. They had four children, Charles, Jack, Earl and a daughter (not sure of her name everyone called Mame). I am not sure if William Tait brought his family over from Shetland Islands or if it was his Dad that came to Canada first. (I have his name written down as Andrew and his wife was Jesse, not sure if it is right).
