Roger, Thanks for the info on the ABMC cemeteries. I am learning more about the process every day. The Patrick McHugh I am looking for was single and lived with his sister Margaret in Brooklyn. Both arrived in 1910 and I can find neither in the 1910 census. The other strange thing is I know he was drafted in Nov. 1917, but can't find his June 1917 draft registration; close, but wrong address and occupation. From the Brooklyn Eagle, I have learned he was KIA on 18 Jul.1918 and he was with the 18th Infantry. That would place him in the first day of the Battle of Aisne-Marne. I am sending to St. Louis for his military file and hope to get more there. Do you know if there is a way of finding out the details of his return to the States?
